Flux Transfer Station

Flux Transfer Station

The Flux Transfer Station is a simple device used for depositing flux on the bumps of a component. It is mounted at the clamping tracks of the FINEPLACER®’s positioning table and has three depressions with different depth on its top side. Using a squeegee, the depressions are evenly filled with flux. As the depressions are in the machine’s working level, a component can be picked up using the placement arm and dipped into one of the flux filled depressions. The depth of the depression determines the amount of flux clinging at the bumps.
