Smart Component Sensor
The Smart Component Sensor allows detecting vacuum at soldering heads over the partial vacuum range (normally 0 to -1000 mBar). By detecting the particular value, it can be determined if the vacuum system is open (no component at the tip) or closed (a component is attached to the tip). From differentiation measurement the middle position is used to determine an existing component at the nozzle.
This makes the Smart Component Sensor a very easy and convenient way to get information about the present nozzle situation/status.
Benefits:
- the switching point can be determined and controlled via software
- a particular value can be assigned to every work step or group
- no more need for mechanical adjustment at the Control Box
- increased process reliability
- increases the resolution of vacuum detection down to 1 mBar
- a convenient way to inspect the status of the vacuum system and to prevent errors
